Swanky Caribbean Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 cup lime juice, (I used about 3/4 cup lime, 1 lemon, and splash of orange juice)
  • 6 cups water

INSTRUCTIONS

In a pitcher combine all the ingredients. Stir well until the brown sugar is dissolved. Serve over ice. Store in the fridge.

Old Fashioned Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 lemons

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 6 cups cold water

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Juice the lemons to make 1 cup of juice. To make your labor easier, FIRMLY roll the lemons between your hand and countertop before cutting in half and juicing.

Step 2: In a gallon pitcher combine 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, and 6 cups cold water. Stir. Adjust water to taste. Chill and serve over ice.

Homemade Pink Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/4 – 1 1/2 cups sugar

  • 8 lemon peel segments

  • 11 cups water divided

  • 4 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice about 8 pounds of lemons

  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup cranberry juice

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1:  In a small saucepan, combine lemon peel segments, sugar and equal parts water.  Adjust the amount of sugar depending on your sweetness preference.

STEP 2:  Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer until sugar is dissolved, then remove from heat. Allow to cool completely.

STEP 3:  In a large pitcher, combine 9 cups of water, lemon juice, cranberry juice, and salt. Adjust the hue of the lemonade by adding more or less cranberry juice.

STEP 4: Remove the lemon peel segments from the simple syrup. Add to lemonade. Stir to combine.

STEP 5: Pour lemonade through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp, if desired.

STEP 6: Serve chilled.

Homemade Raspberry Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 cups raspberries, pureed

  • 3 1/2 cups cold water

  • Ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: In a small sauce pan, bring the Sweet’N Low and water to a simmer. Stir so that sugar dissolves completely then remove from the heat and let cool to room temperature.

STEP 2: Place the raspberries in a food processor and process until smooth.

STEP 3: Pour pureed raspberries in the sugar water and stir well. Add the lemon juice.

STEP 4: Combine the raspberry mixture and the cold water in a large pitcher. Stir well and add lots of ice.

STEP 5: Serve raspberry lemonade with thin slices of lemons and raspberries.
